Cochin Public School was established in the year 1992 by the International Educational Trust. The school has been successful in imparting holistic education to the students under CBSE curriculum and moulds them into responsible and resourceful citizens who positively contribute to the progress of their nation and welfare of the fellow beings. Nine batches of class X and seven batches of class XII have passed out in flying colours. The school provides ample opportunities for co-curricular activities so as to have a balanced and pleasing personality and strike a balance between Intelligent and Emotional quotient. Mental and physical prow ness of our students is imperative in today's life and hence we give training in yoga and meditation along with sports and games.
Sri. K.K. Aboobacker, Chairman of International Educational Trust is also the vice president of All India Muslim Educational Society. He is also member of the (1) Central Advisory Board of Education, HRD, Govt. of India, (2) National Advisory Council for RTE act, HRD, Govt. of India, (3) Prime Minister's 15 point programme implementation committee, Govt. of Kerala, (4) National Monitoring committee for Minority Education, HRD, New Delhi. He is the convener for south zone and central panel member from India for Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah. A very versatile person, he is totally committed to upliftment of minorities who are economically backward by imparting wholistic Education.

Ms Sudha George began her career at SCMS Kochi after completing her M.A Degree from University of Kerala and undergoing a PG Diploma in Journalism & Public Relations. Her inclination towards teaching motivated her to undertake a B.Ed Degree course at Mahatma Gandhi University and thereafter had a stint as a post-graduate teacher both in India and abroad.
With over 25 years of valuable experience in the field of education, areas of her professional expertise include teaching as well as administration and implementing a wide range of school and teacher-related strategies and workshops. Having worked with many reputed schools in India, Kuwait and the UAE she has had ample opportunities to attend various workshops and training sessions conducted by CBSE, NCERT and ICSE. Her dedication and contributions to teaching helped her to earn the 'Best Teacher Award' in 2006 while she was a teacher at Our Own High School , Al Warqa'a, one of the GEMS pioneer schools in Dubai, UAE.
Prior to joining Cochin Public School Ms.Sudha George had worked as Vice principal at Dawn International School, Kochi and as Primary Head (Grade I - V) at St Mary's Public School, Thuruthiply,, Pervumbavoor. She has also worked for Frankfinn Institute of Airhostess & Vocational Training , Aluva as English Training faculty. Her rich exposure to varied curricula which includes ICSE, CBSE, Edexcel International GCSE , GCE & 'A' LEVEL and State Board has empowered her with a diverse and innovative approach as an academic leader. Her greatest strengths include: collaborative leadership, strategic planning, empowering teachers and support staff to develop instructional and leadership skills.
Besides teaching and administration her other interests are counseling and motivation which are integral exercises in building self-concept, self-image, acceptability, ability to withstand pressures, sense of enterprises, sportsmanship etc in students. Empowered with knowledge of all techniques and strategies of counseling she has the ability to conduct psyco - educational workshops and provide individual & group counseling procedures. Ms.Sudha George is also a Master's degree holder in Counseling Psychology from Martin Luther Christian University. She firmly believes that life of a teacher begins the day you realize that you are always a learner and change is the end result of true learning. Ms.Sudha George has been deeply influenced by the 'learner-centered’ approaches and the theoretical ideals of humanistic psychology of Carl Rogers who propounded that 'the only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn and change'.
