About Us Cochin Public School - a brief History

Cochin Public School was established in the year 1992 by the International Educational Trust. The school has been successful in imparting holistic education to the students under CBSE curriculum and moulds them into responsible and resourceful citizens who positively contribute to the progress of their nation and welfare of the fellow beings. Nine batches of class X and seven batches of class XII have passed out in flying colours. The school provides ample opportunities for co-curricular activities so as to have a balanced and pleasing personality and strike a balance between Intelligent and Emotional quotient. Mental and physical prow ness of our students is imperative in today's life and hence we give training in yoga and meditation along with sports and games.

The institution today is the result of the struggles and painstaking efforts of the visionaries and the teaching staff. The relationship between a student and a teacher does not merely remain only a teacher- student bond. When students pass out of the school every year, they carry along with their mark lists and Transfer Certificates, a long lasting affection towards their teachers, fellow students and the school as a whole.

During the academic year 1996-1997 the school was shifted to its own premises at Pipe Line junction, Thrikkakara. School obtained the middle school affiliation from CBSE during 1996-97 and Secondary level affiliation during 1997-98.

The school obtained plus-two affiliations during 2000-2001 and started class XI during July 2001. To start with the school had Math and Science stream with Computer and Biology as optional. The commerce stream was introduced during the year 2002.
